Joana Durães - Projecto Gráfico

Grafic Design

Having started her professional career after graduating from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Lisbon in 2008, she has been working as a graphic designer ever since. A frequent visitor to a context with the connection to the cultural sector, she has therefore collaborated frequently with various artists, photographers, cultural associations, museums and independent publishers. Always endeavouring to keep abreast of all the particularities inherent to production methods and techniques in the traditional and industrial graphic arts, she thus maintains a platform of experience with which she seeks to inform her graphic language, which, in addition to editorial design, also extends to corporate identity, exhibition design and digital design. She regularly collaborates with several institutions, including MNAC, MAAT, Fundação EDP, EGEAC, São Luiz Teatro Municipal, MeelPress, XYZ Books and Editora Documenta.

Matterpieces by studio8

Architecture and Circular Materials

Matterpieces is a movement for construction circularity and the next generation of funky waste-based materials for architecture purposes, minimizing the consumption of natural raw materials and diverting waste away from landfills by applying circular economy principles. Matterpieces upcycles typical inert demolition waste, including glass, ceramic, bricks, and old cement, to produce compelling solutions for floor panels, wall coverings, furniture, and countertops. Matterpieces leads a whole new attitude towards circularity, presenting itself not only as a new sustainable material but also as a new movement that brings together demolition/waste management companies, architects, builders, and producers to achieve circular construction.

Our mission is to guide you into a new era where communities, products, and narratives thrive in this sandbox of creative potential. We honor the essence of traditional craftsmanship while embracing the new possibilities offered by technology, resulting in a unique and autonomous entity in the world of high-end design.

Stephanie Santos 3D

Fashion Design

Stephanie Santos 3D quests an intersection of design and technology in the fashion field. Her work fuses traditional couture clothing construction with digital fabrication and techniques. The products are created through Additive Manufacturing in a studio and are natural pieces of Lingerie Art. The brand is partially inspired by nature, by bio-imitating aspects of the fungal and plant kingdom. Elevating this aesthetic to ergonomic designs creates an elegance naturally fitted to the female body.
The coexistence of shape and functionality is needed to promote a comfortable feeling while wearing clothes. The Nature aesthetic has already untangled the code for perfection. Thus, the brand founder advocates for a symbiotic relationship with apparel and acceptance of these new possibilities. A new era in fashion is coming. We invite you to be part of it.
