Designer Fashion

Cristina Neves is a fashion designer who develops a collection inspired by Japanese aesthetics, focusing on the Kimono and the "slow fashion" concept, promoting sustainability and ethics while creating unique and exclusive pieces. She has a special interest in handcrafted lines, valuing the way they are produced, combining tradition with contemporary style. She offers an artistic vision of the act of dressing, differentiating herself with an elegant, minimalist and avant-garde approach.

Having started her professional career after graduating from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Lisbon in 2008, she has been working as a graphic designer ever since. A frequent visitor to a context with the connection to the cultural sector, she has therefore collaborated frequently with various artists, photographers, cultural associations, museums and independent publishers. Always endeavouring to keep abreast of all the particularities inherent to production methods and techniques in the traditional and industrial graphic arts, she thus maintains a platform of experience with which she seeks to inform her graphic language, which, in addition to editorial design, also extends to corporate identity, exhibition design and digital design. She regularly collaborates with several institutions, including MNAC, MAAT, Fundação EDP, EGEAC, São Luiz Teatro Municipal, MeelPress, XYZ Books and Editora Documenta.

Mercearia Audiovisual is a video, photography, and audio content production company founded by Beatriz Tomaz's vision and experience in the fields of psychology and cinema shaping its unique approach and it also benefits from the collaboration and expertise of Emily Jean Vanweydeveld in photography and anthropology.

Here, each project is treated as one of a kind, with a perspective that seeks the thread between the contemporary and the ancestral, where technique breathes life into ideas. From this dialogue, unique and personalised narratives are born, preserving and creating both material and immaterial memories.

Dedicated to fiction, documentary, and reportage, Mercearia Audiovisual's work extends across cinematic, institutional, theatre and dance universes, crafts and design, products and brands, as well as video production for private clients with an emotional and familial component.

The restoration and digitisation of old photographs and films is also part of their service offering, bringing memories from the past into the present in the form of objects and emotions.

Mercearia Audiovisual proudly features an experienced and passionate team, skilled in capturing and editing photography, moving images and sound, as well as in motion graphics, and post-production. Each piece, each story is a meeting point between art and technique, creativity and innovation.

Paleta Itinerante — CRL is an artistic creation and production structure dedicated to the development of contemporary projects that intersect design, performance, sound, and moving image. Its work focuses on the experimentation of hybrid formats and the creation of devices that articulate body, space, and technology, exploring new ways of relating artwork and audience.
With an interdisciplinary approach, Paleta Itinerante develops processes that value both research and public presentation, fostering practices that operate between exhibition and performance. Design plays a central role in the conception of its projects, not only as a formal dimension but as a system that structures experiences, relationships, and modes of engagement.
The structure’s activities unfold across diverse contexts, including artistic residencies, public presentations, installations, and mediation initiatives, often in collaboration with institutional partners and independent spaces. These contexts allow for a deeper engagement with different territories and audiences, reinforcing a situated and relational artistic practice in dialogue with contemporary realities.
At the same time, Paleta Itinerante invests in creating spaces for exchange and reflection, developing activities that promote access to contemporary artistic practices and encourage critical engagement from audiences.
